CACAO MEDICINE CARRIER PROGRAM
AWAKEN WITH CACAO
We follow 3 princinples in this journey
When carrying ancestral medicine, I walk with three guiding pillars:
Reciprocity: To give back as much as I receive, honoring the land, the people, and the spirit of cacao. Reciprocity is not charity but balance, ensuring that every circle, every sip, and every song is part of a living exchange with all relations.
Integrity: To stand rooted in truth, transparency, and responsibility. Integrity means carrying the medicine in a way that protects its origin, honors those who safeguarded it before me, and ensures it is offered with the highest respect for safety, ethics, and collective well-being.
Authenticity : To show up with my whole heart, unmasked and unpretending, in service to something greater than myself. Authenticity is living prayer, being present, vulnerable, and honest in how I guide others, so that the circle reflects the real medicine of connection.
Together, these pillars form the compass that guides me from the origin of the land where the medicine is born, to the sacred space where we gather. this path is not for the self alone, it is for the healing of our world family, to honor the ancestors, and to forge a future where medicine is carried in a good way, with all relations.
Why this journey matters.
The Four Doors of the Cacao Journey
These doors aren’t just steps, they’re initiations. Together, they form the passageway into carrying cacao not as a commodity, but as a prayer, a bridge, and a living medicine.
Door 1 : Land
We begin at the roots, where cacao is born. This door opens into the stories of the land, the guardians who have protected her, and the ancestral cosmologies that remind us cacao is not a product, but a living relative. Here we learn how to build relationship with the land and with the producers of this medicine, weaving our own essence as carriers of the medicine from the very beginning. This door also calls us into the practice of ethical sourcing, transparency, ensuring that every step of our journey honors both the origin and the future of cacao.
Door 2 : Interconnection
Cacao is the medicine; we are the carriers. This door is about cultivating authentic relationships, with ourselves, the plant, with community. We explore reciprocity and interconnection, weaving ourselves into Indigenous-led initiatives, and aligning with agreements that honor the medicine. Journaling, dieta, and self-inquiry practices guide us into deeper listening and presence.
Door 3 : Ceremonialist
Here we enter the living practice of cacao as a sacred ally. This door is the initiation into preparation and ritual work. You will learn to create ceremony within your lives with integrity using storytelling, visualization, sound, ritual to support this door. We explore how to be in the path of a ceremonialist, that which is rooted in tradition yet open to the heart’s creative flow to bring what is in the moment needed for you and the group.
Door 4: Space Holding
The final door calls us to accountability. How do we carry this medicine in integrity? How do we honor the ones who came before and safeguard the path for those yet to come? This door is about walking with responsibility, transparency, and respect, so that the circle becomes a safe and sacred container for all relations.
