CACAO CIRCLE

An invitation into relationship with T’sírü—the spirit of cacao—through story, ritual, sound, and ancestral wisdom.

Sharing cacao from the lands and families of Talamanca, Costa Rica.

MEET T’SìRÜ

Cacao is more than something we drink. She is a living being whom we are in relationship with.

T’sìrü is the name of cacao carried through the BriBri and Cabécar peoples of Talamanca, Costa Rica, where cacao holds an important place within our stories, traditions, and relationship with the land.

The cacao I share comes from BriBri-Cabécar families in the lower Caribbean region of Talamanca. It is grown on these lands, sun-dried, and prepared through traditional fire processing before making its way into our circles.

For me, sharing cacao is also a responsibility: to honor the people, land, stories, and relationships that have carried her across generations.

When we sit with T’sírü, we are invited not only to receive, but to enter into reciprocity.

10% of cacao proceeds support community initiatives I am connected with in Talamanca.

A cacao circle is an intentional space to slow down, listen, and enter into relationship with T’sírü.

Rather than approaching cacao simply as something we consume, we gather with her through story, ritual, sound, visualization, and shared presence.

I bring cacao from our families and lands in Talamanca and share some of the ancestral stories and teachings that have been passed to me, while creating a space for you to experience cacao in your own way.

Each circle unfolds differently depending on the people, place, and intention of the gathering.

You may experience:

Storytelling & ancestral wisdom · Ritual & intention · Guided visualization · Sound journey · Reflection & sharing · Connection with the land · Reciprocity

This is not about performing a ceremony. It is an invitation to remember how to be in relationship with cacao, with ourselves, with one another, and with the living world.

WHAT IS A CACAO CIRCLE?

THE EXPERIENCE

Each cacao circle is created around the people, place, and intention of the gathering.

We begin by arriving together, opening the space, and introducing T’sirü and her relationship with the BriBri and Cabécar peoples of Talamanca.

From there, the circle may weave together storytelling, cacao, intention, guided visualization, sound, reflection, and moments of silence and connection.

There is no expectation to have a particular experience. The invitation is simply to arrive with openness and curiosity.
